Proposed New USCIS Fee Structure
On January 4, the 2023 the USCIS proposed increases for almost all immigration benefit requests. If and when this goes into effect, employers will pay significantly more for their immigrant filings. With projected revenue boost of more than $4.5 billion, the fee increase will provide much needed funds the USCIS says are necessary. Being funded mainly by these filing fees the agency is more dependent on them than other government fees collected.
